Mind Machines work best when the person using them is willing to work with the device, instead of expecting it to do all the job for them. But just as every person is different so will each session be unique to you.
Every experience is subjective, it depends on your mood and state of mind before you begin, on whether or not you have the necessary quiet to really enjoy a session.

Generally speaking, we’d recommend coming back to a session a few more times until your mind gets used to the pattern of the pulsing lights. By doing that you’ll become more accustomed to following and understanding the pattern subconsciously. With a tiny amount of discipline it will start having the desired effect. And you will most likely start to discover yourself better.
Have patience with it and yourself and set aside a little bit of uninterrupted time.
