Frequently Asked Questions

The Kasina and Limina each come with their own set of glasses but they are interchangeable. The DeepVision GanzFrames ™ are made to work for both. Be gentle with the wires, don’t pull on them and store the glasses appropriately and they will last for a long time.
Mind Machines are perfect for regulating sleep cycles. Remember to not use the machines too often on the same day as it can strain your eyes and of course, don’t use them if you are light sensitive or have any afflictions related to pulsing lights, like epilepsy. Try using them every evening if you want to relax before bed. After you’re done with everything and are getting ready for sleep.

Your eyes are unused to the flashing lights at first. Just like watching a brightly colored movie at home or in a cinema while all the ambient light in the room is turned off, the flashing lights of a Mind Machine might bother you at first - especially if you don't adjust it beforehand.

We recommend you start your experience with the light settings turned down as low as you can stand it and still see them paired with one of the more mellow sessions meant for relaxation and then work yourself up to a higher level of brightness as you continue to experiment with the light machine. Your eyes will adjust in time.

 

If you are epileptic or suffer from anything related to light sensitivity, this device is not for you.

When customizing, adding or moving files it is always a good idea to back up the original set. Do this by copying the folder on your own local computer drives and/or a USB. If you've lost/damaged your microSD factory card we can help you recover your files - Contact us

We recommend removing the memory card with care. Any damage done to the hardware after delivery is your responsibility, so take care of your device as you would do for any other purchase with fragile parts.

Yes, in a addition to many sessions included with in your Kasina/Limina that cover many frequency ranges, the both systems feature a manual mode where you can set frequencies directly, or you can edit your own sessions using the free editor. It also accepts older AudioStrobe titles available on the internet.
Yes, but you'd need a special splitter (TRRS - Male -> 2 x TRRS - Female) for the GanzFrame Glasses, and a regular headphone splitter for the headphones. In addition, you'd need a 2nd set of Glasses and a 2nd set of earbuds/headphones. Either that or get a LiBa. Contact us for any further assistance regarding usage.

The Kasina and Limina have regular jacks for headsets so pretty much anything will work. The packs come with their own set of earbuds but it’s not mandatory that you only use them.
