Theta waves and the benefits of deep relaxation
Our brain waves modulate on the Theta frequency when we are deeply relaxed.
This is the place where the subconscious is very susceptible to suggestion and where we can reach the maximum of creativity.
The Theta state is usually accessible only through deep meditation (which is learned after years of practice) or during the quietest sleep when we are not aware. It usually only takes seconds or even fractions of a second.
However, there are technologies for mental stimulation through which we can reach similar states. Which allow us to reach deep states of relaxation, access to the subconscious and the place where we keep our memories.

Benefits:
Deep relaxation
People who get into the Theta state regularly have much better control over their emotions. Anxiety and stress can be overcome more easily.
Reprogramming your brain
Through Theta states, we have direct access to the subconscious. It is the time when the brain is most receptive to suggestions and is often used by specialists to help people overcome emotional blockages using positive statements.
Now you can reprogram your brain to be calmer – using Mind Machines technology!
Increased concentration
Hyper-focus is a special effect of the Theta state. For example, when you are very focused on a game you can get into a Theta transe. You can use the same concentration to work on other skills.
Better memory
The brain is able to absorb huge amounts of information without you realizing it. Therapists use Theta states to help their patients regain their memory.
Emotional balance
In the Theta state, emotions dominate. Many of us have difficulty identifying our own emotions and feelings, often resulting in frustration and stress.
The better we understand each other, the better armed we are in managing our emotions on our own.
It will also increase your understanding and empathy for others.
Stimulated immune system
The less stress and anxiety you have in your life, the healthier you will become. The brain knows how to take care of the body by releasing endorphins and other hormones that help us. Theta states allows it to act on your stress levels and reduce them dramatically.
How to train your mind into entering the Theta state?
There are several methods of neural training – see our articles on other methods of brainwave entrainment, Brainwave modulation and the Benefits of Mind Machines.
Note that the theta state is not the only, nor the most powerful, non-ordinary state of consciousness. To learn more about these, see our quick section of brainwaves and the states associated with each wave type.
